JTM Covid Safe Plan

The following “Return to Play in a COVID-Safe Environment” Plan has been developed to ensure a safe return to JT Multisport group training sessions. All members and athletes are encouraged to read and familiarise themselves with the plan. The plan will be reviewed regularly and updated in accordance with local and federal Covid-safe guidelines.

  • All JT Multisport sessions will have a prompt start and finish time and athletes will be discouraged from mingling pre- and post-session.

  • All athletes who plan to attend the session will need to RSVP via Team App 24hrs prior to the session to ensure the session complies with current restrictions and advice around group size.

  • All athletes are to use their own equipment and the sharing of equipment is strongly discouraged. This includes but is not limited to clothing. Athletes are to ensure they are dressed appropriately and have the appropriate equipment to complete the session.

  • Physical distancing of 1.5m will be maintained where possible outside the field of play.

  • Athletes who are unwell are strongly discouraged from attending the sessions. If an athlete becomes unwell during the session, they are to notify a coach immediately and will be asked to leave the session.

  • Spectators are not permitted at sessions. When required, e.g., for a minor, a one parent/carer is permitted to attend.

  • Good hand hygiene and personal hygiene is strongly encouraged. Athletes are encouraged to wash their hands with soap and water using available facilities (e.g., Stromlo Forest Park rest rooms) and/or personal alcohol-based hand-rub prior to and post the training session. Alcohol-based hand-rub will be made available at the session, however, athletes are strongly encouraged to bring their own for personal use.

  • Spitting and/or nasal secretion is strongly discouraged.

  • Where applicable, athletes are encouraged to use the ‘Check in CBR’ app. This is available at pool venues and Stromlo Forest Park.

  • Attendance will be recorded at each session in the form of a RSVP on Team App prior to the session.

  • In the event of a COVID-19 positive result, JT Multisport will support contact tracing efforts by providing records of athletes that attended JT Multisport sessions and support protocols related to quarantine/ self-isolation and the isolation of those considered at risk for having COVID-19.
